The University Staff Golf Club is recruiting new members for the 2015-2016 season.

The University Staff Golf Club is recruiting new members for the 2015-2016 season. 

‌Membership is priced at £25 and for that small fee you have the opportunity to attend subsidised outings to some very enjoyable and challenging courses. 

Image of golf club addressing the ballThis year’s outings are to Dundonald, Paisley Bushes, Kingsbarns, Creiff , Cardross plus an outing to Strathaven along with Edinburgh Staff Golf Club. 

You also have the opportunity to compete in club competitions for Club Champion; Ladies Singles or Gents Singles and Mixed Fourball and to join Ross Priory with access to its lovely 9 hole course beside Loch Lomond. 

You do not need to be a serious golfer or even be a member of a golf club to take part and all staff will be made most welcome.

Funding generously provided by the Ferguson Bequest: Professor Thomas Ferguson (1900-1977), Henry Mechan Chair of Public Health (1944-64), bequeathed his estate to the University, with the instruction that the money should be used to foster the social side of University life.
