Learning & Teaching

The Assessment & Feedback Practice Enhancement Tool (PET) opened for submissions on the 26th March 2026, and will remain open until the 26th April 2026.

This tool provides an opportunity for you to reflect on your assessment practices and consider how they align with the University’s Learning Through Assessment (LTA) framework. It is a key means of developing insights into how the University can support staff to enhance assessment and feedback in response to students’ needs and evidence of good practice.

For the 2026 iteration, your participation is particularly important, as it allows us to compare this year’s results with 2025 and track progress.

On the 26th March, you received an email from Qualtrics with your unique access code to the survey. This link will take you directly to the survey website, where you can fill in your responses.

This year, some questions within the PET are optional to support more colleagues to complete the survey. We believe that this will allow all colleagues, at any stage in their teaching career, to complete the survey.

Thanks to the participation last year, we have been able to roll out additional support for colleagues across the University, including:

  • Continued development of the Assessment & Feedback Hub with colleague-led content; a key resource to enhance the support for teaching staff to change assessment and feedback practices.
  • Assessment Changes Workshops – led by Academic and Digital Development, supporting assessment changes at a College level.
  • Integration of the LTA framework into PGCAP learning – with 120 staff annually benefiting from this training.
  • The establishment of the AI Subgroup and Feedback Literacy Subgroup.

Your engagement helps shape the future of assessment and feedback at the University. We greatly appreciate your time and insights.

Further support and information are available on the Assessment & Feedback website, or you can contact the Assessment & Feedback Practice & Policy Workstream at afpp-workstream@glasgow.ac.uk
