Published: 26 February 2026
Taking a moment to reflect on the 'Student Partnership' themed Learning & Teaching Away Day in December 2025.
In December 2025, the Learning & Teaching Committee met for their annual Away Day, with colleagues and students coming together for a day centred around student partnership.
We were joined by Duncan Calvert, SRC President, Chantelle Atsegoh, Undergraduate CoSS Convenor, and Liberty Holmes, School of Critical Studies Rep, who led a Q&A Session with Andy Schofield, Principal & Vice-Chancellor.

Ayush Garg, VP of Education, also led an insightful discussion on AI and student partnership. Student Representatives and interns from the Learning & Teaching Strategy Unit and Careers, Employability and Opportunity teams led and joined discussions throughout the day.
Presentations included:
- Embedding Student Voice and Partnership
- L&T Strategy and Student Partnership
- Demystifying assessment – supporting students’ assessment and feedback
- Co-designing inclusivity for the assessed oral presentation
Thank you to everyone who attended and made the day such a success. It was fantastic to facilitate and capture insightful discussions between students and colleagues. The outputs from these discussions have been shared within workstreams and will inform ongoing work.
