This academic year the University has launched MyGrades, a tool that gives students a clear overview of their assessments in one convenient tab on Moodle.

We are pleased to announce that the MyGradesResit guidanceis now available for staff to view. We strongly encourage all staff to carefully follow this guidance when engaging with resit or reassessment opportunities. Future Upskilling sessions will be available and can be viewed on ourSharePoint Events page.

Feedback in Action

MyGrades has been developed in response to student feedback. It’s one of the ways we’re working with our community to enhance the student experience. We have worked closely with students to create a platform that addresses their needs and some positive insights were students appreciating the familiar terminology, clear assessment weights, and visual appeal of the pie graph.

“I wish mine looked like this when I started the semester!”

“Good that it has consistent grading, and it all adds up, as this isn't the case on MyCampus”

MyGrades will feature in the upcoming student newsletter as part of a bigger suite of student focused communications and support campaigns, as we head into the assignment and examination period of semester one.

Latest MyGrades updates can be found on the dedicated micro site, head to LISU sharepoint for the Resit guidance and all MyGrades up-skilling materials.  If you have experienced any technical issues, please contact the IT Helpdesk.

*Students on some MVLS programmes won’t see grades in MyGrades just yet as these areas use additional systems, therefore integration is taking a little longer. We’re working on it and hope to bring MyGrades to them soon.  All student communications will highlight this to reassure our students and prevent direct queries to MVLS Schools.

Thank you for your continued support. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to the MyGrades team mygradesproject@glasgow.ac.uk.
