Password self service
Changing your password for one service changes it for ALL services, including eduroam Wi-Fi.
Please note there can be a delay of up to five minutes between changing your password and the update being made to systems.
Your password
Your password is known only to you. Do not share it with anyone!
Passwords are required to be changed once per year. You will receive reminder emails when your password is due to be changed - if you do not do this, your account will be locked.
New staff
Get your GUID and a temporary password
Even if you already know your GUID, you still need to register here before you use it
How to request IT services for new staff and visitors
Honorary & Affiliated status
If you are a University employee sponsoring someone registered with Honorary or Affiliate status, contact your local IT support to request a Desktop account and/or email account for them.
All other staff
Desktop and email accounts are created automatically along with access to other services.
Visitors
Multi-factor Authentication (MFA)
Multi-factor authentication or MFA is required on most University systems as an additional layer of security. You will be promoted to use MFA the first time you log in and occasionally thereafter.
