Introduction to PowerPoint

  • Half a day

In this half day introductory session we will show you how to create an effective presentation using many of the features available in PowerPoint 2016. Presentation tips and information on producing speakers notes and audience handouts will also be covered on this course.

Some knowledge of computing and the Windows environment advised.


PowerPoint: Multimedia & special effects

  • Half a day

In this half day session delegates will learn how to use sound and video files in PowerPoint 2016, as well as publishing slides for viewing on the web. Some previous knowledge of PowerPoint is recommended.


Going Further with PowerPoint

  • Half a day

This session builds on the knowledge gained in the introductory course and uses Themes, Slide Masters, Hyperlinks, Action Buttons and much more. Information on file size, file compression and general good practice are also covered. Some previous knowledge of PowerPoint would be an advantage but not required.


Sway

  • Half day

Microsoft Sway makes it easy to create and share interactive reports, presentations and more. In this half-day session delegates will learn how to use text, images and other content to create and share a Sway.

The course will be delivered in an instructor led environment using your University Office 365 account.

Objectives

On successful completion of this course participants will be able to:

  • Use a range of interactive content to produce a Sway
  • Share your Sway with others
