Extended Workforce Policy
The Extended Workforce Policy, developed in consultation with the campus trade unions, sets out the various arrangements utilised to engage those who work directly for the University. The approach is based on the principle that the university will engage all members of the workforce on the most appropriate contract and do so in a fair and transparent way.
The policy sets out the full principles and explains the different types of contract. The procedural guidelines provide additional practical information including details relating to the engagement of casual workers and the role of local administration and HR.
