New from the Information Commissioner's Office

The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) is the UK’s independent authority set up to uphold information rights in the public interest, promoting openness by public bodies and data privacy for individuals.

The ICO publishes useful guides and tools for implementing GDPR on a continuing basis. The impact of each area of new guidance is assessed and changes made to our University policy/processes. We integrate these to each topic on our web pages. As new ICO guidance is released on a frequent basis, it may be useful to read the latest releases.

The ICO updates on enforcement, decision notices, audits and cases studies that highlight the importance of data privacy.
