Use alt text for your images
- Twitter - enable alt text in settings
- Facebook - go to advanced settings
- LinkedIn - add alt text when prompted
- Instagram - use advanced settings when adding an image
General guidelines:
- Accessible hashtags - use CamelCase
- Avoid Emoji overuse
- Put mentions (e.g. @UofGlasgow) at the end so key content is covered first
- Use captions on content from videos to Instagram stories
- BSL interpretation recommended for high-value content
