Summer Abroad Fair

Wednesday, 28 January, 11:00-15:00, Glasgow University Union

After it's successful pilot year, the Summer Abroad Fair is back for January 2026!

Last year saw over a dozen third party providers come along to the fair to advertise their summer schools, volunteering and work experiences to our students.

Join us to connect with ambitious students exploring international experiences that build adaptability, cultural awareness, and global competencies. This event showcases short-term mobility opportunities that develop the skills employers value most.

At the Summer Abroad Fair, you’ll be able to:

  • Engage with students interested in summer schools, volunteering, and international work experiences
  • Highlight your organisation’s global opportunities and attract motivated candidates
  • Share insights on the benefits of international experience for career development
  • Discuss funding options and practical steps for students to make overseas opportunities a reality

This event attracts students from all disciplines, offering both general and subject-specific pathways. It’s an excellent chance to position your organisation as a champion of global experience and future-ready talent.
