Careers, Employability and Opportunity works in partnership with EmployAbility, an award-winning organisation that supports disabled and neurodivergent students and graduates as they move into employment.
If you have a disability, neurodivergent condition, mental health condition, long-term health condition, or any physical or sensory impairment, EmployAbility can help you feel more confident and informed throughout the recruitment process.
By registering with EmployAbility, you can access free support, including:
- Advice on your rights in recruitment and employment
- Support with applications and interviews
- Guidance on requesting workplace adjustments
- Information about disability-inclusive employers and opportunities
- Individual support tailored to your circumstances
- Advocacy with employers to help ensure you receive any adjustments you need during recruitment

External Organisations
The UK has many disability-specific organisations that support disabled job seekers to find work.
When looking for jobs, keep an eye out for the Disability Confident logo. Disability Confident is a government scheme designed to encourage employers to recruit and retain disabled people and those with health conditions.

- Access to Work: Access to Work can support people attending interviews and can also provide support once you are in work if you have a disability or health condition
- Association of Disabled Professionals: Forum for disabled people in or entering work
- Blind in Business: Assists visually impaired students into employment
