Peer Career Support
Our trained Peer Career Support (PCS) Team can provide easy access to personalised information and support related to your career, employability or next steps following university.
We can help you learn more about our services, understand and make the most of resources and feel more confident about your future.
We can also support you with key employability topics, including
- CVs and applications
- job searching
- researching employers
- and more.
Drop-in
The Career Studio is open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday on Level 2 of the Fraser Building. Drop-in for support, no booking required.
Please note there may be a short wait during busy periods.
Regular pop-ups
We run regular on-campus pop-ups which you can see listed on the Glasgow Careers events calendar.
Online support
Book a 20-minute, online (Microsoft Teams) appointment. These are released at 18:00 daily on a rolling basis, up to one week in advance, and are available Monday to Friday until 20:00.
Buddy support
We want all students to feel comfortable and supported when attending our events and masterclasses. If you’d like a friendly face to join you, we’re now offering Buddy Support.
A member of our Peer Career Support Team can attend alongside you to provide some extra support, whether that means simply having someone to go with, having a built-in partner for group work, or having a little extra reassurance on the day.
If you’d like a buddy for an event or masterclass, just email our Peer Career Support Team at peer-career-support@Glasgow.ac.uk after booking your place. We’ll match you with a Peer Career Supporter who can attend with you on the day.
Career Coaching
Our qualified Career Advisors offer individual 45-minute Career Coaching appointments where you can access in-depth professional guidance with your career and professional development planning.
Appointments are released at 18:00 daily on a rolling basis, up to two weeks in advance, and are available 09:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday.
Please review our information about Career Coaching before booking one of these appointments.
These appointments are in high demand. If you book and then can no longer attend, please cancel your booking via Glasgow Careers at least 4 hours before your appointment. This means another student can book the slot instead. Alternatively, email us to cancel, providing as much notice as possible.
