Internal Categorisation of External Examiners’ Reports

A

The External Examiner is very satisfied with all aspects of the courses and programmes they examined.

B

The External Examiner is satisfied with courses and programmes they examined but has constructive suggestions which will aid course and programme development.

C

The External Examiner raises concerns that need to be addressed by the School. The Head of School is requested to arrange for the points raised to be responded to within three months, and APG will send this response to the External Examiner. Clear ownership and timescales must be assigned to the action points associated with the response.
