Step back in time to the Cretaceous period and meet Trix, the Tyrannosaurus rex - one of the three most complete Tyrannosaurus rex skeletons in the world. The 66-million-year-old fossil is the centrepiece of this blockbuster exhibition which also features a range of exciting interactive exhibits.

Trix the T. rex is one of the best preserved T. rex skeletons ever discovered. She lived to over 30 years old, meaning she is also the oldest T. rex skeleton ever found, is 39-foot long, around 13 feet high and weighs five tonnes.
The 66-million-year-old fossil of the carnivorous dinosaur was uncovered in Montana, USA, in 2013. Trix is the only original skeleton of a T. rex currently touring anywhere in the world.

Within the exhibition are fun interactive displays where you can have a go at designing your own T.rex and even dance like a dino!
For the Scottish leg of Trix’s tour you can also see fossilised dinosaur footprints from the Isle of Skye and visit the dino-shop.
Glasgow is her last stop before she returns home to the Naturalis Biodiversity Center in Leiden, the Netherlands.
