ARC-XR is a cutting-edge collection of immersive technology, housed within the ARC (Advanced Research Centre) at the University of Glasgow. We are opening the space for you to drop in and explore some incredible examples of research and applications of virtual reality (VR) tech. Take a VR tour of the heart with the School of Mathematics & Statistics. Walk through a spinal cord with researchers from the School of Cardiovascular & Metabolic Health and the School of Psychology and Neuroscience. Explore the Edify platform and see how VR can be used within teaching and learning by bringing to life interactions and experiences that wouldn’t be possible otherwise, such as following an infection through the body.
