Over the past month, CaCHE's blogs have covered a variety of important issues related to LGBTQ+ people, housing, and homelessness. While they have made progress in understanding these issues, there is still much work to be done.
One of the challenges CaCHE face is that the data on LGBTQ+ homelessness is incomplete. This is due to a number of factors, such as the fact that many LGBTQ+ people do not identify as homeless, even if they are living in precarious housing situations.
Another challenge is that LGBTQ+ people often face discrimination in the housing market. This can make it difficult for them to find safe and affordable housing.
Despite these challenges, there are a number of organisations working to improve the housing situation for LGBTQ+ people. These organisations provide housing assistance, support services, and advocacy.
CaCHE are committed to working with these organizations to ensure that all LGBTQ+ people have access to safe and affordable housing. We believe that everyone deserves a place to call home.
