We are delighted to report that UofG has once again risen in the rankings in two of the world’s most prestigious university league tables this year, consolidating its position as one of the top 100 universities in the world.

In June we improved four places in the QS World University Rankings, rising to 73rd globally, and in September we rose six places in the THE (Times Higher Education) World University Rankings, to be placed 86th in the world.

We were also delighted to hear we had moved up three places in the Complete University Guide, rising to 16th in the UK. Five of our subject areas were ranked top in the UK – Dentistry, Food Science, Social Policy, Sports Science and Veterinary Medicine – with 17 individual subject areas ranked in the top five in the UK and 31 subject areas ranked in the top 10.
