On 25–27 October the University will host the prestigious THE Leadership & Management Summit 2021.

The event, entitled Restore, Reset, Rebuild, will challenge the current practices of university management and explore the role that universities can play in society, the economy and communities as we emerge from the pandemic.

Speakers will include prominent leaders from across higher education and industry and the event will discuss a broad a range of subjects, including the role of universities in promoting economic recovery, confronting social injustice and tackling climate change.

“It’s an honour for the University to host this year’s Times Higher Education Leadership & Management Summit,” says Rachel Sandison, Vice-Principal for External Relations, “and it will be a pleasure to see speakers and attendees from across the world coming together to discuss the most important issues affecting the sector and our communities. As we continue to emerge from the pandemic, it will be fascinating to share our experiences and insights from the last 18 months, and explore the important role universities can, and will, play in the world’s post-pandemic recovery.”

The University of Glasgow is the current Times Higher Education University of the Year.
