Success in Birmingham

We’re celebrating with our alumni on their athletic achievements at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, held in Birmingham in August. Laura Muir (BVMS 2018) won a gold medal for Scotland in the Women’s 1500m which added to the bronze she won in the Women’s 800m earlier that week.
She adds her Commonwealth medals to her Olympic silver from Tokyo in 2021, her World Championships bronze in July, and her European Championships gold in August.
Neah Evans (BVMS 2014, MSc 2021), pictured above, won a silver medal for Scotland in the women’s cycling road race and she also won silver in the 25km points race on the track and bronze in the individual pursuit.
