Glasgow Science Festival's innovation and impact has been recognised through a number of highly competitive award wins and nominations.

Scottish Hospitality Awards 2025

Glasgow Science Festival are delighted to announce they have been awarded Best Scottish Festival 2025, at this years’ Scottish Hospitality Awards. The ceremony took place on Wednesday 18th June at the Marriott Hotel. Glasgow Science Festival has been nominated three times for this category and have won all three times (Best Scottish Festival, 2025, 2018 & 2019).

“Competition within the category was very strong, with ten festivals nominated, including Glasgow Film Festival and Kelburn Garden Party. I am so proud of what the team has built and delivered in collaboration with our incredible network of partners. As we look forward to our 20th anniversary next year, my huge thanks to those who continue to support us”.

We were delighted to pick up Best Scottish Festival for the second year in a row at the 2019 Scottish Hospitality Awards. Congratulations to all the nominees in the category, which showed just how strong the Scottish festival scene is.
