Travel

Flight: Glasgow has two airports, Glasgow international airport and Prestwick airport. Ryanair is the only airline operating at Prestwick airport. A taxi from Glasgow international airport to the university will cost approximately £20. Edinburgh airport is another international destination.

Train: Central Station and Queens Street Station are based in Glasgow city centre and are walking distance from the Buchanan Street and St. Enoch Subway stations.

Subway: Two subway stations (Hillhead and Kelvinbridge (closest)) are within 12 minutes walking distance to the Sir Charles Wilson building. Please note that the subway will be closed during July. Replacement bus services will operate.

Taxi: A taxi journey from the city centre to the university will cost approximately £10. Please mention that you are getting off at the main Glasgow University entrance on University Avenue.

Bus: First bus lines 4 and 4A run from the city centre to the university and stop opposite to the Glasgow student union building.
