Jaynee Hart: PhD in Molecular Cell and Systems Biology
Undertaking my PhD studies at the University of Glasgow was an excellent opportunity for me to both broaden my horizons through living abroad and work in plant light perception, a field I love.
The best thing about studying here has been the frequent opportunities to share my research with colleagues in my institute, allowing me to receive feedback and advice from people working in other disciplines.
Working here has also allowed me to learn many skills to tackle my research questions, including an internship in another lab to learn structural biology techniques.
