EU Scholarships
The University of Glasgow continues to be committed to ensuring a strong relationship with our existing and future EU students, and supporting EU talent to make their home at the University of Glasgow.
All EU students are eligible for these scholarships, and you must hold EU fee status to receive the scholarship.
Undergraduate Scholarships
Our EU Welcome Award is a £5,000 tuition fee discount per year of study to new, incoming EU students to the University of Glasgow.
Highly qualified applicants from the EU will still be eligible for the Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship of £7,000 per year of study if they meet the eligibility criteria. Applicants holding offers will be automatically assessed for this scholarship based on academic merit. Applicants who do not meet the criteria will automatically be offered the EU Welcome Award and will be notified within two weeks of receiving an offer.
Please note that it is not possible to combine either the EU Welcome Award or Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship with any other University of Glasgow Scholarship.
