Hayley will join the School as a new Research Assistant
We're pleased to welcome Hayley Connell to the School, who will be working as a Research Assistant on a project aiming to inclrease the number of people cycling.
Hayley is currently in the final stages ofa PhD at Glasgow Caledonian University, 'Increasing physical activity and reducing sedentary behaviour in stroke survivors with the use of a personalised behavioural intervention: A feasibility study'.
Her research interests are in the use of physical activity and the reduction of sedentary behaviour to improve health, for secondary prevention and to improve overall quality of life in individuals with various health conditions. She has a keen interest in stroke rehabilitation and the use of behavioural change interventions and their role in facilitating positive changes in health.
