A feminist life: symposium in memory of Dr Roona Simpson, 22 March 2018

All are invited to a symposium on 22 March 2018 in memory of Dr Roona Simpson

A symposium will be held in memory of the School's much missed colleague, Roona Simpson. This will be at the Glasgow Women's Library on 22 March 2018, 1.30-7pm. Former students, teachers, colleagues, collaborators and activists with be speaking about their ongoing work and the meanings of feminism in their everyday lives, and reflecting on Roona's life and work.

Confirmed speakers include: Lynn Jamieson (University of Edinburgh), Rosalind Gill (City University of London), Roisin Ryan-Flood (University of Essex), Vanessa May (University of Manchester), Sarah Wilson (University of Stirling), Barbara Littlewood and Kristina Saunders (University of Glasgow) Wendy Kirk and Gabrielle MacBeth (Glasgow Women's Library), Emma Ritch (Engender Scotland).

This event is open to all and free to attend, but spaces are limited so booking is essential. Please book your place on Eventbrite
