Opportunities to Learn Lithuanian and More

Summer courses available to students in the School of Social & Political Sciences to study Lithuanian, in Lithuania, in 2013 and 2014.

Under a new agreement signed between Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Lithuania and the University of Glasgow, CEES students and students within the School of Social and Political Sciences, are eligible for places on the following Lithuanian language courses:

  • July - August 2013 4 week course in Kaunas
  • July - August 2014 4 week course in Klaipéda (Baltic coast)
  • July – August 2014 4 week course in Kaunas

In July 2013 there will also be a 2 week summer school “Discoveries of Lithuanian Culture”, complete with excursions to places of interest.

These courses, including food, accommodation and travel to and from Lithuania, are paid for by the Lithuanian side.
