Karyn McCluskey is a forensic psychologist employed by Strathclyde police and Director of the Community Initiative to Reduce Violence (CIRV). Together with John Carnochan she pioneered Glasgow’s Community Initiative to Reduce Violence (CIRV) which provides a holistic approach to dealing with youth violence. Its results have been highly acclaimed and its methods are influencing policing beyond Scotland.
