An update from SOCIAL AI

New students, Youtube channel and more...

As we head into our third year SOCIAL AI continues to grow from strength to strength; the first cohort have all successfully passed the first year of their research project and the second cohort have all successfully passed their training year and are now commencing the first year of their research project.

We also recently welcomed 10 new students into the third cohort, bringing the total of SOCIAL AI students to 30. You can read our new student profiles on the SOCIAL AI website: https://socialcdt.org/students/

Settling into this semester, we look forward to hosting a Project Writing Day with our current and prospective supervisors.

For  the first time, we look forward to welcoming Aligned Students to the CDT, if you or if one of your research students would be interested in becoming an Aligned Student and benefiting from membership into a multidisciplined cohort then email social-cdt@glasgow.ac.uk for more information.

We have also launched a YouTube channel. On our channel you can view presentations from our hugely successful virtual events ‘SOCIAL AI and Mental Health’ and ‘SOCIAL AI and Ethics’. Subscribe to be kept informed of new content as and when it arrives.

As a growing research training centre we welcome interest from all interested parties – if you would like any information about anything discussed above or about the CDT in general, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us at social-cdt@glasgow.ac.uk.
