The DOP Virtual Conference will include a broad range of content around the theme of Work in Crisis and will be compered by Claudia Hammond, psychologist and professional broadcaster. Interactivity and networking will be an important feature. It is also being delivered in a very affordable way.

The first day focusses on Employability and Credibility with great content to support our members plus two superb keynotes. We open with Prof Herminia Ibarra and close with Prof Fiona Patterson. Both are warm and inspirational speakers who will be concentrating on aspects of career development. There will be skills-based sessions such as one by Ella Rhodes on Writing about science – tips from journalism; input from a diverse group of members about their career journeys and insight into a new approach to mentoring.

Day two concentrates on Current and Future Challenges with input from extensive DOP research on COVID 19 led by Gail Kinman and Jan Maskell. There is a great panel discussion The Future of Working Differently featuring Richard Kwiatkowski with former MP Jo Swinson, Dragons Den entrepreneur Sarah Willingham and Chief Constable Andrew Rhodes. The first of our exciting keynotes is by the MP and psychologist Dr Lisa Cameron, concentrating on Wellbeing at Work and the final challenging keynote is by Prof Keith Grint on Leading and Misleading in the Age of Uncertainty.
