Staying Connected: A Toolkit for Effective Groupwork

Dr Maxine Swingler, Dr Heather-Cleland Woods, Lara Wehbe and Dr Gayle Pringle Barnes (images below l to r) have secured £17950 for a Learning and Teaching Development funded project working with students to co-create and evaluate a one stop resource on effective group working for staff and students.

The project team will develop skills-based resources applicable to the diverse nature of courses across the institution and by developing social connections through groupwork will help address the challenge of developing a sense of community in a blended learning environment.

The project is a cross college collaboration and draws on the outcomes of previous projects (Graham & Pringle Barnes, 2020) and the University group work policy (2018).
