OHBM Virtual mini-conference and funding from the Human Brain Project

Professor Lars Muckli and Lucy Petro hosted an Organization of Human Brain Mapping (OHBM) virtual mini-conference in conjunction with The Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) Forum in July. This mini-conference represented a partnering of OHBM and the Human Brain Project (HBP) societies alongside the FENS forum. Speakers from the UK, Europe and the US contributed to the topic of multiscale, multimethod human brain imaging.

Professor Lars Muckli also received continued funding from the Human Brain Project (SGA3, third phase, € 569.275). Lars is coordinating teams from Glasgow, Berlin, Amsterdam and Oslo to investigate ‘Apical dendritic amplification for cognitive performance’ in humans, monkeys and rodents, using high-resolution brain imaging, dendritic patch-clamp recordings, calcium imaging, two-photon microscopy, electrophysiology and optogenetics.
