ScotPEN Wellcome Engagement grant awarded to Dr Gemma Learmonth
Dr Gemma Learmonth has been awarded a £14,990 ScotPEN Wellcome Engagement grant for her public engagement initiative “Aging With Impact”.
This two-year project supports the inclusion, involvement and engagement of older adults in scientific research into the aging brain. With opportunities for older people to become involved in the planning and development of research projects, and for researchers to undertake research that is developed ‘with’, rather than ‘about’, older people.
The project aims to improve the real-world relevance and impact of scientific research outputs into cognitive aging.
