Research interests

Gabriela is an Occupational Therapist, graduating from the Universidad de Chile in 2005. She then completed an MSc in Neuroscience at the same University, graduating in 2009. She is currently undertaking a PhD under the supervision of Dr Kerry Kilborn and Professor Jonathan Evans. Her research interests lie in Cognitive Rehabilitation and the use of technologies such as EEG and brain computer interface to improve cognitive abilities that could eventually allow brain injured individuals to engage successfully in daily activities. Her PhD will investigate the neural correlate of prospective memory in traditional and free-movement EEG paradigms. Gabriela has been awarded a scholarship from the Chilean National Scholarship Program for Graduate Studies to pursue a PhD at University of Glasgow
