We are delighted to share the news that the School’s new Astronomy & Physics Education (APE) Group will be holding its launch event, via Zoom, on Wednesday 9th September 1300-1500.

The purpose of the group is to foster a culture where the scholarship of teaching and learning (SOTL) is as valued, and valuable, as all other areas within the School; this launch event will feature a series of presentations that will showcase examples of SOTL from within the School and across the physics community elsewhere.   Everyone is welcome to attend; sadly, unlike the intended face-to-face launch we had to postpone in March, you’ll need to provide your own drinks and nibbles.

Anyone interested in attending, please contact peter.sneddon@glasgow.ac.uk for the Zoom link details.

More group info, including the full timetable for the launch event, can be found at
