Staff Connections - What do our academics do to relax?

That’s why we at the School of Physics & Astronomy have planned a wellbeing week all around making connections, and who better to front such a campaign than a man connected to almost every building, river, and subway station within a five-mile radius – our very own Lord Kelvin!

The University of Glasgow is lending its support to a trio of bids to bring a prototype fusion energy plant to Scotland. The UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) announced today that three University of Glasgow-backed plans to base the Spherical Tokamak for Energy Production (STEP) programme at locations across Scotland’s central belt have passed the initial stage of consideration.
