Aitor Bonsoms is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the School of Modern Languages and Cultures at the University of Glasgow. 

His research lies at the crossroads of International Relations, Security Studies and Social and Political Theory. In methodological terms, he is interested in qualitative methods, particularly discourse analysis and ethnographic techniques. Previously he has taught at several universities in Madrid (UCM, UC3M and UAM) and Barcelona (UOC and UAB). He holds a PhD in Politics, Public Policy, and International Relations from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and ​​a master’s degree in Ideology and Discourse Analysis from the University of Essex. His work has been published in academic journals such as International Political Sociology or European Security.
