Venue and travel
UKMHD 2026 will be held in the James Watt Building (room 375) at the main campus of the University of Glasgow.
There are excellent transport links between the City Centre and the West End via the Subway and bus services.
Travel from Glasgow International Airport
At the Airport take First 500 Glasgow Shuttle to Glasgow City Centre from Stance 1. Get off at Queen Street bus stop. Walk for 1 min to Glasgow Subway Queen Street station. Take the subway to Hillhead station. Walk down University Avenue until you reach the main building. Walk through the main building to the rear and the James Watt building is on the left (with the main building behind you).
Travel from Glasgow Central Rail Station
Walk for 5 min to Glasgow Subway St Enoch station. Take the subway to Hillhead station. Walk down University Avenue until you reach the main building. Walk through the main building to the rear and the James Watt building is on the left (with the main building behind you).
Travel from Glasgow Queen Street Rail Station
Walk for 2 minutes to Glasgow Subway Buchanan Street station. Take the subway to Hillhead station. Walk down University Avenue until you reach the main building. Walk through the main building to the rear and the James Watt building is on the left (with the main building behind you).
Travel by taxi
Ask the driver to take you to the main gates of the University of Glasgow. Walk through the main building to the rear and the James Watt building is on the left (with the main building behind you).
