Research interests

Susannah’s primary research interests lie in administrative justice, and her work to date has examined tribunal processes. Her doctoral work explored the interplay between adversarialism and empathy in the First-Tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber). She is also interested in legal consciousness and participation within administrative justice settings, and her work addresses questions of access to justice and how it can be improved.
