Biography
Jo Hynes is a legal geographer whose work explores justice system design and the use of ethnographic methods in legal contexts. Jo previously worked as a Senior Research Fellow at Public Law Project, where her work focused on immigration legal aid and related access to justice issues, as well as the role of digitalisation in the justice system. She is currently working on a Nuffield Foundation funded project, Understanding and Developing User Focused Tribunal Hearings with Professor Chris Gill and Professor Tom Mullen.
Research interests
Jo is particularly interested in interdisciplinary research and partnership working across academia, civil society, and grassroots organisations.
