We are pleased to announce that we are organising a webinar on "Artificial Intelligence and the future of law", which will take place on Zoom on 2nd December 13-16.15 UK time.

It will feature two panels, one focussing on corporate law and one focussing on insurance law. The event will be structured as follows:

 

13-14.30: Panel I: Artificial Intelligence and Corporate Law,

Chaired by Prof. Iain MacNeil and Prof. Irené-Marie Esser, University of Glasgow School of Law.

This panel will take the form of presentations followed by open discussion.

 

14.45-16.15: Panel II: Artificial Intelligence and Insurance Law

Chaired by Prof. Iain MacNeil and Dr. Livashnee Naidoo, University of Glasgow School of Law.

• Dr Mišo Mudrić, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb and Secretary General of the Croatian Association of Insurance Law.

This panel will be in the form of an ‘in conversation’ panel discussion followed by open discussion. Relevant topics will include AI and the underwriting/claims process, insurance discrimination, autonomous vehicles, governance and regulation in the insurance value chain, AI and business models.
