Successful Alumni Event

Philosophy held its alumni day on Saturday 12 November 2016. It was a very successful day with over 60 alumni in attendance: some came from as far away as London and the United States to attend.

We had talks by alumnus Isabel Nisbet, and staff members Robert Cowan, Hugh Lazenby, and Fiona Macpherson on big data, illusions and hallucinations, sexual consent, and moral intuitionism. There was a demonstration of Virtual reality devices to tie in with Fiona’s talk about the new project on the topic.
