Johanna's award was presented at the University's graduation ceremony on 9 December 2021
Many congratulations to Dr Johanna Green (Information Studies Subject page) who was presented at our recent graduation ceremony with her Teaching Excellence Award from the University. These awards recognise outstanding contributions to teaching and student support and Johanna richly deserves this commendation and the high esteem in which she is held by students and colleagues both within the College and across the University – her delivery of virtual teaching sessions was viewed by students as the “gold standard” for online learning. I particularly enjoyed the following quote from a student which was included in Johanna’s citation from yesterday:
“Johanna’s own joy of teaching is enough to create enthusiasm in students, she is a brilliant lecturer and the quality and variety of materials we examined has enriched my learning. Thank you!”
