Biography

Dr Sukhmeet Singh is a Higher Trainee in both Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychiatry of Intellectual Disability. Since February 2024 he has worked as a Clinical Lecturer in Psychiatry of Intellectual Disability. 

Dr Singh completed his medical studies in Glasgow in 2015, which included an intercalated BSc (Hons) in 2012. Shortly after this he was appointed as a Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych) Pathfinder Fellow and undertook research projects as a part of this. 

Dr Singh is interested in research regarding the experiences of people with intellectual disabilites across the life course.
