Biography

I joined the University of Glasgow's Social and Public Health Science's Unit (SPHSU) in November 2024 as a Research Assistant in the Systems Science Unit. My work has involved exploring how the field of systems science may help us better understand the social determinants of health and how health inequalities are produced. I also work on the OPTIMA project, conducting geospatial analysis to better understand the concept of 20-minute neighbourhoods and links to health outcomes.

Research interests

I am interested in applying data science approaches to public health problems, in order to guide policy choices. My specific interests include focusing on urban design choices, social determinants of health, and health behaviours. I am also interested in data visualisation and public engagement.
