Biography
I recently completed my PhD at the University of Glasgow, investigating how outdoor nature-based play and leanring in Glasgow can contribute to positive health behaviours in children. Through this, I gained skills in developing and evaluating complex public health interventions.
I am currently a Research Associate on two projects: MRC-funded Early Childhood Outdoor Nature-based Play and Learning (ECO Nature Play) and NIHR-funded Health Determinants Research Collaboration-Glasgow. I am a mixed-methods researcher with skills in participatory research methods such as systems-based mapping and Evaluability Assessment.
In 2018, I received my Bachelor's Degree (Hons) in Human Biology with Sociology and Psychology from Glasgow Caledonian University. In 2019, I was awarded an MSc in Human Nutrition with a Specialisation in Public Health at the University of Glasgow followed by an MSc in Developing and Evaluating Interventions in 2020, at the University of Glasgow.
