• GPPC's David Blane, runner up in the MVLS Impact in 60 Seconds competition with his entry “Improving access to weight management in primary care”.
• Medical student Julia Morris, awarded the Michael Harrison Class Prize for top of the year of intercalating BSc students 2017-2018. Julia was also successful in gaining a Lister Prize Summer Studentship supervised by IHW's Dr Rona Strawbridge and Professor Daniel Smith, which will allow her to build on her successful BSc project to produce a paper for publication.
