In September 2019, The MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit visited The Forge shopping centre for Explorathon.

The Unit had two activities – a higher/lower game which compared various population health indicators in Glasgow and Parkhead, and #mentalhealthmessages where people were encouraged to write positive messages about mental health to young people. Both of the activities proved popular with shoppers of all ages, with around 250 people visiting the stands throughout the day.
