The Health Behaviour in School-Aged Children (HBSC) Scotland team at the MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit has published a series of "at a glance" research updates based on 2018 survey data.

They have been developed as a resource for use with young people in a classroom or youth work setting, to enable young people to engage with the data in an accessible way and to facilitate discussion on key issues affecting their health and wellbeing.

The research updates focus on:

  • Life at school
  • Diet and physical activity
  • Mental health and wellbeing
  • Screen time and social media use
