Public Patient Involvement (PPI) in grant applications for primary care research

Published: 28 June 2018

Find out more about the GU-based NRS Primary Care Network Public and Patient Involvement Group (PPI), which aims to help researchers with practical suggestions (lay summaries, info leaflets etc)

NRS Primary Care Network Public and Patient Involvement Group (PPI) is based in the University of Glasgow. Involving the pubic in research can give an insight, for example , of what it is like to live with a health problem. We have 4 meetings per year, mostly lasting 2 hours at the Mitchell Library.  Our group discussions help researchers with practical suggestions  for instance, about lay summaries and how to improve study information leaflets.  The dates for meetings in 2019 are shown below so if you would like to come and chat about your work, then please get in touch with Tracy by phone  0141 330 8309, or email tracy.ibbotson@glasgow.ac.uk
