The MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit (SPHSU) has submitted a response to the Scottish Parliament’s Health, Social Care and Sport Committee’s inquiry into health inequalities in Scotland.

The aim of the inquiry is to explore progress towards tackling health inequalities in Scotland since 2015.

The response highlights that the most impactful ways to improve health and reduce inequalities are upstream and require multi-sectoral action at all levels.
